The beta version of GameStop’s NFT marketplace is currently out there, whereas the marketplace's official launch is anticipated to deploy before long. 


GameStop has confirmed its integration with Loopring (LRC), an Ethereum Layer a pair of zkRollup protocol designed for powering redistributed cryptocurrency exchanges, into their extremely anticipated NFT marketplace. Adam Browman, Loopring’s Head of Growth, proclaimed on Medium on weekday that the beta version of GameStop's marketplace had gone live. 

According to Browman, GameStop, in partnership with Loopring L2, aims to provide "fast, cheap and secure" access to digital possession for the lots. They will offer power back to the players, creators and collectors with GameStop at the "forefront of those new international digital economies." 

He explained however users will currently mint NFTs directly on Loopring L2 for "fractions" of the pricey gas-fees that tend to result from minting on L1, close to but $1. The Loopring zkRollup inherits Ethereum L1's self-custodial security to confirm that its users "receive the strongest digital property rights." 

Beta users can get access to those "massive speed improvements and lower costs" and begin creating deposits before the the complete launch of the official marketplace that's reportedly returning before long.
